No dig conversion of weedy ground into a productive garden. Follow the progress we made from February to November, using mulches to smother the weeds, and compost to enable rapid, successful transplanting. Then we made second plantings and even in November, almost all beds have something still growing, or new seeds starting such as broad or fava beans.
From Homeacres no dig garden in Somerset UK, 51N, oceanic and temperate climate USDA zone 8.
I have written 11 books about growing great vegetables, see https://charlesdowding.co.uk/product-category/books/
