See the transformation from weedy pasture to an area full of vegetables, even in November. Many of the plantings are second crops after summer harvests, such as leeks following potatoes, and mustard is following winter squash. The mustard is mostly a cover crop or green manure, plus we cut the tips for adding to salad mixes I sell.
I show you also how we use black polythene as a temporary weed barrier. We transplant through holes made in it and that saves so much time weeding, plus the rain trickles into those holes. We rarely water and there is no irrigation system here.
The no dig book I show you at the end is available from us https://charlesdowding.co.uk/product/charles-dowdings-no-dig-gardening-course-1-signed/ and from Chelsea Green in North America https://www.chelseagreen.com/writer/charles-dowding/.
Plus we created an online course about No-Dig gardening and until 31st December you can buy that half price from my website https://charlesdowding.co.uk/product/online-course-1-no-dig-gardening/
